Main rule of use (Signal direction)
This converter is unidirectional and works exclusively in one direction: HDMI input ➔ VGA output.
It is ideal if you need to connect a new laptop, tuner, or console (with an HDMI output) to an old monitor or projector (with a VGA input). Reverse connection (from an old computer with VGA to a new TV with HDMI) is not supported.
