Description
The USB DC 5.5x2.1 power cable is designed to connect a router or modem to a power bank. This cable has a DC connector with a plug with an outer diameter of 5.5 mm and an inner diameter of 2.1 mm, which outputs a voltage that matches the voltage on the USB connector of the cable.
Different modems and routers require different voltages: 5V, 9V, 12V. The cable supports the voltage supplied by the power bank. If the power bank outputs 5 volts, the output will also be 5 volts. Current up to 2 amps.
If your router operates on 9 or 12 volts, you will need another device – a voltage boost converter from 5 volts to 9 or 12 volts. This is important for connecting a router, modem, GPON optical terminal, ONU terminal for PON optical networks, LED strips from a power bank.
