Connection Diagram
The isolated master RS485 port connects to the RS485 host device, and the 8 expanded isolated RS485 ports connect to various RS485 slave devices, such as RS485 sensors.
Normally, RS485 requires serial (daisy-chain) connection. If a star topology (master station in the center) is needed, this RS485 hub effectively isolates mutual interference between multiple RS485 devices.
