Brief Overview
This device is an industrial data acquisition / IoT gateway for RS232/485/422. It combines multiple functions in one enclosure: serial server, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway, RS485 to JSON conversion, etc. The module is equipped with RS232/485/422 and Ethernet ports (PoE — optional), supports power via a DC connector (outer diameter 5.5 mm, inner 2.1 mm) and screw terminals. The DIN-rail mount enclosure is compact, easy to install, and cost-effective.

Main Function
Bidirectional transparent data transmission between RS232/485/422 and Ethernet.
Three Different Interfaces
Built-in RS232 / RS485 / RS422 interfaces — suitable for more application scenarios.
The Ethernet port can simultaneously send data to all three serial ports.
Only one of the RS232, RS485, or RS422 ports can simultaneously send data to the Ethernet port.

MQTT/JSON ↔ Modbus
Flexible conversion between different protocols.
When used as an MQTT gateway, the device transmits serial data to the MQTT server via transparent transmission. Supported: Baidu Cloud MQTT, Alibaba Cloud MQTT, China Mobile OneNet, etc. Modbus RTU data or non-standard serial data can be parsed into JSON format and packed into an MQTT packet for upload.
When used as a JSON data acquisition gateway, the device connects to measuring instruments via RS485, automatically collects data, converts it to JSON format, and sends it to the server. Supported: Modbus RTU, 645 instruments (versions 97 and 07), and non-standard RS485 protocols. Upload format is configurable via the host; protocols: MQTT, HTTP POST, HTTP GET, etc.

Different network devices are identified and processed separately — no cross-interference when working with multiple network devices.

NTP Protocol Support

Multi-Level Protection — Reliable and Stable
Built-in galvanic isolation of power and signals ensures stable isolation voltage with high reliability and interference immunity. Built-in TVS (transient voltage suppressor) effectively suppresses surges and transient peak voltages — protection against lightning and ESD. Built-in self-recovering fuse and protective diode provide stable current and voltage output, protection against overcurrent and overvoltage.
