RS485 to WIFI/Ethernet - DIN Rail Industrial Serial Server
Device Overview
This module is an industrial RS485 data collector and IoT gateway, combining multiple functions in one device: serial server, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway, RS485 to HTTPD Client, etc. With RS485, WIFI, and Ethernet ports, the module enables conversion between: serial port ↔ WIFI, serial port ↔ Ethernet, Ethernet ↔ WIFI.
Power is supplied via screw terminals and supports a wide voltage range of 5-36V. The flame-retardant PC+ABS V0 housing is DIN rail mountable — compact, robust, and easy to install. Suitable for data acquisition, IoT gateways, security systems, and smart device monitoring.

Transparent Transmission Mode
Supports TCP Server / TCP Client / UDP Server / UDP Client.
Serial Command Mode
The user sends data to the server according to the protocol. Data can be sent to different servers without restarting the device.
HTTPD Client Mode
After configuring the HTTP header via AT commands or web page, the module can send data to or receive data from an HTTP server.
MQTT Support
The device can subscribe to messages from other MQTT clients and publish topics to the server. Supports subscribing to 6 messages and publishing 6 topics — a wider range of applications. Users can view device information via terminal devices or cloud platforms.
Modbus Gateway
Supports mutual conversion between Modbus TCP ↔ Modbus RTU.
AT Command Mode
The user can query the current status of the module or set parameters by sending AT commands via the serial port.

Socket Distribution Protocol
In transparent transmission mode, the serial device can send data to a specified Socket connection; network data from each Socket is transmitted to the serial device via the serial port.
Hardware Protection
ESD level 4 static protection, level 3 overvoltage protection, EFT level 3 electrical fast transient protection.
Configurable Registration and Heartbeat Packets
The registration packet is used to identify the device to the server, allowing the server to recognize connected devices.
